Targeted Email Blasts
Career Services can send targeted emails to relevant faculty and students registered in our WVU Handshake database to announce an internship, co-op, or job at your company. Targeted emails include the company’s logo, detailed description of the position, and a link to apply on Handshake. All jobs or internships must be posted on Handshake by the company before a targeted email can be sent. Targeted emails are limited to once a semester per position.
Provide Career Advice on Social Media
Our Helpful Hints social media series provides companies with an opportunity to provide career tips and advice to students through WVU Career Services’ social media channels. Career Services team members will work with you to create a customized post that will be shared as an Instagram or Facebook Story. Employers may request up to two posts in the academic year. On-Campus Tabling
On-campus tabling is an informal way to connect with students regarding your organization’s opportunities, culture, and brand. During your tabling session, you will be able to promote your company brand and connect with students in a highly trafficked area of campus. Career Services will assist you in coordinating and promoting your tabling event with your target audience. Career Services staff are also available to arrange food or beverage orders for your tabling. On-site parking is provided for tabling reservations.
Professional Development Events
We offer several professional development events each semester, such as resume review workshops, mock interview weeks, and panel discussions designed to enhance student job search preparedness, as well as connect them with employers in non-career fair settings. Employers that purchase sponsorship packages are given the first right of refusal to participate in all professional development events.
