Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP)

A federal program providing recruitment opportunities to highly motivated students with disabilities eager to prove their abilities in the workplace.

About WRP

Nationwide highly motivated college students and recent graduates with disabilities are eager to prove their abilities in the workplace through summer or permanent jobs. The WRP is a recruitment and referral program that connects federal and private sector employers with those very students.

WRP allows over 40 federal agencies and sub-agencies to conduct interviews with a variety of candidates from all majors and levels within the university setting annually.

To be eligible for the WRP, candidates must be U.S. citizens, who are eligible for the Schedule A Hiring Authority that are current, full-time undergraduate or graduate students with a disability, or have graduated within one year of the release of the database each December.

Student Registration and Approval
Students participate in the WRP through a two-part registration process. Students register to participate by visitng the WRP website and completing a brief registration form. For the 2020 WRP release, interviews will be held in the fall of 2019. A candidate who graduated in April 2018 or later would still be eligible to participate.
