Student Employee of the Year
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Student Employee Appreciation Committee invites all student employee supervisors to recognize outstanding student employees for the University’s annual Student Employee of the Year Award. This invitation is typically issued in early February each year.
The ideal nominee is a student who exemplifies the contributions and achievements of those who work while attending West Virginia University. Student employees are an essential part of the WVU campus community, providing invaluable services with enthusiasm and dedication while managing their academic responsibilities. Their contributions positively impact WVU in various ways, whether by welcoming guests and visitors, assisting fellow students, or supporting the daily operations of university departments.
Eligible nominees are undergraduate and graduate students employed in hourly, on-campus positions at WVU. To qualify, students must have worked for a minimum of six months part-time or three months full-time.
